Introduction of the Department :
Faculty of Fine Arts came into existence in the year 2008 with holy and creative vision of Hon’ble Life Long Chancellor of the University His excellency Jagadaguru Swami Shri Ram Bhadracharya JI, Honoured by PadamVibhushan.Since its establishment period,the faculty has proved mile stone in the field of Fine Arts by nourishing the Higher Education to the disabled persons.University Grants Commission and NAAC has declared as excellent faculty during its reports.Presently under this department Bachelor of Fine Arts(B.F.A.),Master of Fine Arts(M.F.A.) courses with innovative research areas Ph.D. Programme also offering successfully.In the journey of a few years The students as well as the faculty members of the department has achieved number of recognitions at State,National and International levels in the field of fine arts.The art gallery,paintings and creations,class rooms of this department are easily attracts to the peoples by its academic and extension activities where the peoples of all over India and abroad come to see the departmental activities especially performed by disabled students.With these qualitative activities in the field of Fine Arts the department also organizes several workshops,artist camps,summer and winter trainings,seminars,symposium and exhibitions of national and International levels.In all the department is presently devoted towards the higher education of disabled people in the area of fine arts by skill development and enhancement their creative powers so that they can serve the nation as well as society by developing themselves as contemporary artists.
