Introduction of the Department :

Ever since the establishment of J.R.H.University, Chitrakoot, U.P. in July, 2001, the Departmet of English & Modern European Languages has been a unique unit to strengthen the Divyang students. As per the special view of the university, the Department has been handling them with all the possible means and methods to ensure their participation in Nation building. Being ever alert to the barriers and inequities of the challenged persons, the Department provides congenial and conducive environment for their holistic development. In order to achieve the aims and objectives, the Department has been polishing their proficiency and skill in English language since its inception. Advanced methodology is being adopted for imparting knowledge and every bit of information with due proportion of their utmost capacity. Emergence of English as a global language has challenged the whole educational institution to take up time bound initiatives to meet the immediate need of the language as well as literature teaching. Keeping in views, the Department maintains the required standard of teaching and learning modes. Updating of syllabus as per the UGC guidelines, organizing seminars, conferences, conducting project works and carrying on the research works are the parts of curriculum of the departmental regular activities. In this way the students are well equipped with the recent theories and trends of English language and literature. Faculties of the department are sincerely discharging their duties and responsibilities with team spirit to meet the demand of the students.

The objective of the University is to ensure greater participation of disabled in higher & professional education by providing disabled-friendly campus, classrooms and courses in order to prepare students of strong character enriched with traditional and modern knowledge.

Introduction of the Department :

University has taken up the challenging task of establishing the faculty of commerce and management and it was established with one department named as Department of Management Studies for ensuring the participation of physically challenged in the year 2007. Under this Department at initial stage an under graduate course (Bachelor of Business Administration, BBA) was launched. Latter on P.G. Course (Master of Business Administration, MBA) was added under existing Department in the year 2011. The MBA curently emphases on following specialisations: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Information Technology. Our department has vision to add some more demanding specialization soon.
