    Date of establishment : 2008

    Introduction of the Department :

    The department of economics was established by university in 2008 to strengthen the capacity of physically challenged students in higher education. Initially Economics was included as a subject under B.A. course and further post graduate courses such as M.A. in Economics and Ph.D programme were launched.

    Introduction of the Department :

    University has taken up the challenging task of establishing the faculty of commerce and management and it was established with one department named as Department of Management Studies for ensuring the participation of physically challenged in the year 2007. Under this Department at initial stage an under graduate course (Bachelor of Business Administration, BBA) was launched. Latter on P.G. Course (Master of Business Administration, MBA) was added under existing Department in the year 2011. The MBA curently emphases on following specialisations: Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Information Technology. Our department has vision to add some more demanding specialization soon.
